How it works

One product, shaped to your operation.

The model

Configured, not customized.

Crosstable is one product. What makes it a marina system or a trade-finance desk is its configuration: your fields, your rules, your stages, your roles and views, written in a plain form the system reads directly. Shaping Crosstable to your operation means writing that configuration — never modifying software. That's why it fits without a development project, and why changes later are edits, not change orders.

Why it's crosstable.ai

Where the AI is — and isn't.

Because the configuration is plain and readable, AI can write it. Describe how your operation works — or hand over the spreadsheet you run today — and AI drafts your system: the fields, the rules, the thresholds, the terminology. That's how each of the eight industry systems on this site was built, and it's how yours gets built in days.

Where the AI isn't: the moment of decision. No model approves an allocation, grants a berth, or draws down a limit. Every rule runs deterministically in the engine, every outcome is repeatable, and every change is audited. You can read the configuration your system runs on — and so can your auditor.

The rules

Scarcity comes in three shapes.

Whatever you allocate, the thing that makes it hard takes one of three forms — and Crosstable enforces all three.

One at a time

A thing that can belong to exactly one party — a berth, a bay, a unit, a vehicle. A second booking is refused, not reconciled later.

A pool with a ceiling

A shared total that commitments draw against — a credit facility, warehouse floor space — with sub-limits inside it. The ceiling holds.

Time slots

Bookings that may not overlap — a season, a stay, a window — including sublets when the holder is away.

Where location matters, a map view renders the berths, bays, booths or plots directly.

Machinery

The operational machinery.

Offers that expire unless confirmed — and firm commitments that don't

Holds, with a reason and an expiry date

Swaps that leave the displaced party first in line for the next comparable unit

A dated, fair waiting list — jumping the queue demands a logged reason

Import from the spreadsheets and files you already receive, with a quarantine step for anything doubtful

The documents you send out, generated from the live data

Roles and field-level permissions

A complete audit trail

Fit

The part that's uniquely yours.

No two operations are identical. Crosstable ships with what's true for your whole industry working on day one; your house rules — the thresholds, exceptions and terminology that make your operation yours — are added in configuration during setup. Not a development project, and never a change order.
